Education system of South Korea, Denmark and Finland and the positive influence for Peru

“The roots of education are bitter, but the fruit is sweet." Aristotle

The purpose of this blog is to show a characteristic of Finland, Denmark and South Korea's educational system in order to explain how we can implement these characteristics into the Peruvian educational system. In addition, this blog is aimed at a general audience.

Finland: Universities are tuition-free for students

If universities became free for all people, acts of corruption would be reduced and university teachers and staff would work out of vocation and not for other benefits. So that many more people have access to free quality education, since they have the right to education.

Denmark: The government invests heavily in education, approximately 8% of its budget.

If the government would be more interested in the fields of education, this educational system could be improved, since in Peru 4.2% is invested, being a little more than half compared to Denmark, which invests 8% of its budget.

South-Korea: Consideration should be given to the idea of a “test-free semester” that allows students to take time each day to take a course of their choice that is not included in their regular curriculum.

Since it would help students to get out of the routine a bit, while still developing skills, being an opportunity to do so. In addition, it would be seen as an incentive for students to continue and improve.

In conclusion, if the Peruvian state implements these characteristics, the country would evolve contributing for example with health.
